IPBiz notes that references to Hamilton’s Nazi bunker are not plentiful on the internet.  The following gives some background.
Of the murder itself, an article in the Trentonian in the year 2005 notes:
[Benjamin] Harrison told police he punched his 51-year-old mother, Dolores Marie Harrison, five times in the face and put her in a headlock […]

So it was a rainy and cool Monday night. I decided to go bowling with a friend of mine. So we went over to the bowling alley that is about 5 minutes away from our houses. It’s just a regular bowling alley. Nothing too special. So I walk in and who do I see? I see two people there for a fundraiser. In a bowling alley I wouldn’t expect anything major and if it is it would only be major in the bowling world…I would think. One famous bowler is Norm Duke. MAYBE I would expect to see him. But no that’s not the case. Two people sitting at their […]

It is available online at the Dallas Morning News blog, the Washington Post and EthicsDaily.com. The only complaint I have is the paragraph that states,
Ascol, the Southern Baptist, takes issue with some churches that enroll people after they answer an altar call and commit themselves to following Jesus. He says it’s a superficial means of joining the church and requires no real commitment. Even after those members disappear, the denomination counts them, he said.Actually, my concern is not that churches use an altar call–though I am no fan of that modern invention and think it has […]

Top 10 Trends for 2007 High-Tech Markets:
1. With open source, mashups and mobile players all creating different and incompatible platforms, we believe the software platforms of the future may be layers that run across all those competing operating systems, with Adobe’s Apollo and Microsoft WPF/E both key players, coming to market in the first half of 2007.
2. Did you talk about Microsoft Vista at your New Year’s party in 2005? In 2006? And just weeks ago as we began 2007? […]

There is a word in China that the government loves to use, but I really hate.  And to my horror, the Hong Kong government is starting to use it now, too.
That word is harmony or its adjective “harmonious society”.  This dirty word is seen and heard everywhere in China.  It’s quoted in speeches by top leaders, propaganda posters and in the Chinese media.  Yet in China, in my humble opinion, there is little harmony, if there is any at all.  The fact is, most Chinese people do not live in harmony.
Many are unwilling participants in giving face, lying when it suits them and greasing the wheels of corruption and injustice in China.  Like it […]

This is the same Gordon Gee, the Vanderbilt chancellor, who said, “There is a wrong culture in athletics, and I’m declaring war on it.”
Gee did away with the athletic department at Vanderbilt in the fall of 2003 and now he’s supposed to return to Ohio State, which has an athletic program with 36 sports, over $100 million budget, and over $200 million in facilities debt?
Ohio State’s program grew to mammoth proportions during the 1990s under athletic director Andy Geiger. The president at the time was Gordon Gee.
Gee saw the light when he became Vanderbilt […]
